Do these work with kasa ?
No. They use a different app to setup and control. That's what is keeping me from getting these...having to use another app. I've just started using the TP-Link smart plugs and bulbs and don't really want to have to use two different apps to control my smart devices...although Alexa would control them all. So still might grab these. Very good price and the reviews are good.

Does it show current wattage being drawn.
Yes. I've attached 3 screenshots of the Smart Life app showing a smartplug I use for a space heater. The first image is with the heater "ON", but not drawing power due to thermostat at set temperature. This screen also shows the cumulative power consumed by month, and the total power through this smartplug since it was set up. The 2nd image was taken approx. 2 seconds after the heater came on (by thermostat). The 3rd image shows the device's power consumption by day.

Is this high enough Amps for a 1500 watt wall plug heater and 14k btu A/C
Yes. That's exactly what I'm using mine with. Per the seller, they're rated to 1875 watts. The heaters I'm using them with pull about 1450 watts on 'high", and they're on for 8-10 hours a day. The plugs 'do' get just a slight bit (barely) warm.

How are these in regards to lighting/floor lamps? My apartment only has 2 light switches so we have a lot of spots in our house with limited lighting at night.

Concern here is the 2.4GHz requirement. My Orbi mesh network has issues with connecting devices on the 2.4 GHz network as you can't turn off 5 GHz.

At this price for 3 smart outlets with monitoring, worth the effort.
I'm kind of new with smart home only about fifty devices so far but have t found any that work on 5ghz?

Are these certified to not burn down my house? It says it's ETL listed

I think it's the BNC-60 listed in this certification: https://ramuk.intertekconnect.com...enDocument

For lamps smart plugs or bulbs are your best bet. I'm happy with the Merkury/Geeni plugs and bulbs I've bought in store at Walmart

FYI, make sure to buy all the plugs you want on your first order! I placed an order for (1) 3-pack, then decided to get another 3-pack, but got a message informing me the coupon is valid for one use per account (I unfortunately missed where the OP mentioned that). Not even the excellent Amazon Cust Svc could help me in ordering another set with the coupon code. The recommended ordering at full price, then contacting them later to get the 40% credited back.

Thank you! I wanna use this for the same exact purpose. I want to check wattage usage of a 1500w parabolic heater. This is much cheaper than a Kill-a-Watt

That's why my wife has an Amazon family account tied to mine.

Have you tried creating a guest Network on orbi. Works well for me

So do I need a separate alexa/Google assistant for these plugs for voice control?
