For excel I think it would be fine, I'm no 4K Microsoft office snob.

This would be absolute GARBAGE for excel. Unless you sit 5+ feet from your monitor, the pixel density is way too big to be usable and the text would have to be so large. Size means nothing. It is all about pixel density. A 1920 x 1080 32" is only good as a TV or for gaming. It is NOT good for office work. We have a 2560 x 1440 32" and it is borderline okay for office tasks.

People have very different vision. This is a good monitor for seniors and even people with good eye sight that like things bigger. Sitting far away from you monitor is good for your eyes.

Computer monitor should be always arms away. 32" 1080P is stretched version of 24" 1080p monitor everything is that much blurry on 32" screen sitting a far way from blurry monitor does. Not make it more crisp.

Especially if you have to read text.

I owned 24 and 27 inch 1080P monitor.

And 30" 2k monitor. If as the monitor size gets bigger you need higher resolution just to keep same ppi ( pixel per inch )

My 720p 32 inch TV low-key gets the job done. And we're here complaining about 1080p 😂

A friend of mine has this exact monitor. I sat at his desk, and 1080p looks fine on 32". Fonts didn't look blurry at all.

Ignore the people saying otherwise.

If price was no object, I would agree with "beersy" on this. If you have poor vision, you can always increase the scaling and have the benefit of sharper text and other visuals, which I've noticed also helps people with poor eyesight (such as myself). Now, if price is a consideration, then sure, get a larger screen with lower resolution. Just my two cents.

I paired it with a coupon and got 3 for 85 each. Great monitors, Excel looks fine.

About arms length from my 32" 1440p monitor; it's hard to notice pixels, but I can still see on white background and black text usually, and I'm nearsighted. I DON'T use my contacts when on my PC either. If you get this for office work, you'll probably most definitely notice the pixels.

Not a great price. It's been as low as $110 and is frequently $129.
