I bought the refurbished model for $239 in January. It was a great deal then, and an even better deal now. I have just one USB-C plug for my Macbook Pro which powers the laptop, two monitors, my mouse, keyboard, external hard drive, wired headphones, and another USB hub without significant issue. I do sometimes get a little flicker for a moment on my monitors when I come out of sleep, but it works well after that.

Went through three USB C docks that were spotty. Was hoping not to have to spend this much to get dependable connections. Caved in last night and put in an order for a new one. Saw that this was available, cancelled my order and jumped on this one. Thanks OP! Hoping this will end the my search. 🤞

After having to return 3 other Thunderbolt 3 docks to work with my Thinkpad X1 6th Gen, this Caldigit is the most stable and feature rich dock. Can't go wrong with this one. I should have researched more before I got the Belkin, El Gato, and OWC docks.

So far, I've got 2 x Dell 4K monitors, Yamaha speakers, color printer, keyboard, back up HDD, USB drive, and headphone/mic all connected and I still have a few ports remaining. The UHS-II SD card is quite handy for my Canon SLR as the Thinkpad X1 only came with a Micro SD card slot.

In for another one for my son's desk. Lowest price I've seen. Paid $309.99 for mine on Amazon. Pricy, but this was the only dock that worked without a hiccup.

If you have a Thunderbolt 3 connection this is the best desktop dock money can buy.

15 Ports, Dual 4K, and 85 watts of power delivery (Charging to the host).

I have this paired up with my MacBook Pro, and my friend has it with his Dell XPS 9560.

Great for Apple users, but PD might not be enough for XPS. However, he really appreciates the USB-C Gen 2 port for his 4K video editing.

Their support is also awesome. They actually have people that answer the phones. Hell, they even speak English without an accent. Pretty amazing for a tech company this day and age.

My XPS 15 slow charges off the dock, but it does seem to be enough to keep it from discharging in all but the most intense loads.
