I have the gigabit plan, but can't ever get the advertised speeds. This deals seems decent, so i may drop them and come back.

Don't you have to wait a while before signing up again to qualify as a "new customer"?

also, are you using their quantum router? i was using my own and had the same problem as you, but I have little doubt I'd get gigabit with theirs. My router is kinda old

I just signed up for the gigabit plan. It's a way better deal for the money if you need the speed. $79.99 a month for 3 years no contract. Netflix free for a year and free router rental for 3 years.

Frontier bought out Verizon FIOS in Indiana > 5 years ago and has just kept the network up and running (without any improvements) while offering less speed at higher prices. I just call them monthly now in the car and go straight to the retention department to complain about my bill. I've started a list of names to see if I ever get the same person again. The only other option here is Comcast which Indiana allows to put a 1TB monthly cap (to protect their network from excessive users lol) that you have to pay $50/mo to get rid of.

Recently due to deregulation they are able to charge $10/mo + tax modem fee. This is not the ONT on the side of my house that converts the optics to copper but the router they offer for your home. I run my own equipment and have for 10+ years. They've told me with or without they will charge me the modem fee + tax. I've filed a complain with my state's Attorney General to investigate for tax fraud (the easiest way to get them involved). They are charging tax for a service not received.

I hope in the future broadband is more regulated. Meanwhile I just call Frontier for my monthly talk. I wonder what my account notes look like.

Are we really going to get the slickdeal rebate this time? I'm jumping through hoops to get Novembers Macy's gift card and still have yet to receive a dime!

Verizon is asking for a code otherwise it's $49 for me. Is there a code?

did this twice already with TCB
it takes a full 3 months, but you
can get it as an Amazon gift card
which is much more convenient
than these disposable credit cards.

The other Cash Back site never paid out the $80. Claimed no record of it. I put in a request to resolve but not counting on it. I did get the VZW $50.

i wonder if maybe TCB didn't qualify your order for CB
because you were already getting some $ from VZW.
with both my TCB $80 payments, there were no other
CB offers from Verizon or others as part of the order.
