This price matches the price of the FP Deal for it from a few months ago.

This was $109 4 days ago. I paid $99.00 seven months ago after it was posted on SD. The router alone is $109.00, so essentially you're getting the sander for free and saving $10 on the router.

Free Shipping or ship to store for pickup.

This combo has been $99 for the longest time (I've had my eye on this set for a while, and many of the reviews even mention it at $99, some as old as 2011).

That being said, I'm not saying this is a bad deal at this price. If you need a router, you basically get a free sander, or if you need the sander, you can get the router for only $50 more.

Point being: if you need one or both of these now for a project you're currently working on or about to start, it's a great deal. If you're just getting these for a future project because of the price, it may be worth it to wait and see if they go lower.

This is really not what you want for a table, although I'm sure you could rig something up. Generally, people are looking at a full sized 1/2" collet model with 2+ HP for table use.

I work construction with guys who have all brands of tools. Guys with Ridgid seem to always have a tool being fixed. The warranty is great but I couldn't live with the downtime. For a homeowner or lighter work I'm sure they are great. Still seems like a good price for 2 useful tools though.

Routers seem about the same spec wise, you're just picking between orange or yellow. Ridgid has the LSA and is a little cheaper, so it's the leader price wise.

Now if you need both items, or you're getting this for the sander and like a bonus router, the DeWalt kit is the better buy.

Buy the Ridgid deal and then put the $50 you saved towards the random orbital sander of your choice. https://www.homedepot.com/b/Tools...C_MODE%7C0

And don't forget to sign up for the lifetime warranty.

The orbital sander will work a lot faster than 1/4 sheet will and DeWalt routers are pretty good quality.

I really like the trim router for small woodworking projects. Easy to setup and use. I've used it mainly to round over edges.

Why is this front page when it's been this price on and off for the past 8 years? That's not so slick. Just asking...
