Is the bottle top made of glass? Most of these cheap ones I've seen have a glass bottle, but then the topper is made of clear plastic.

I've literally only seen these in movies. Is this just more fancy than letting people know what brand of whiskey I have? Does it make me a fancy gentleman?
I feel like this is better for hiding cheap junk booze. For great whiskey I'd rather keep in in the bottle until it goes in my face. What have I got to hide?

It's classy ... is that not a thing? Do you wear PJs on airplanes? Because that would provide some context.
