Steelseries has most of their headsets on sale right now, but the Arctis 7 is the best value in my opinion. I just grabbed one of these at Best Buy a few days ago for $129 and then realized that steelseries started a sale yesterday that includes a free storage bag. So I added the leather earpads for another $15 for a total of $119. No tax charged.

There are also some 10% and 12% coupon codes in you look around, but they won't apply to the sale prices.

Own a pair of these and am currently using it. The audio module it comes with is pretty useful - I plug my speakers into it so I can still get speaker sounds when my headset is off. Just a fair warning that you can't have both your speakers and the headset on at the same time with these. You might want to simply use the mic but keep your external speakers playing as a use case. Overall a great headset and I've never noticed any connectivity issues with the wireless.

In for a pair. Don't think the Massdrop PC37X is a fair comparison since it's wired and as a user said, may require a DAC/decent sound card to run properly

Have had these for a while now. Great sound, mic quality, durability, receiver range. Good battery life. Headband is tight for anything larger than a medium sized head, which is the main drawback.

Would these headphones double for audio via Bluetooth for my iPhone in terms of providing decent audio quality? Looking to knock two birds with one stone if possible.

I just paid $150 for this headset this week. It's been perfect so far. My biggest concern was latency. I couldnt use the last wireless set I had from a different brand because of the mayby half second delay in everything, these seem close enough to instant that I can't tell a difference. Iv been told by others that the mic sounds great. I use blue, clicky keys and it doesn't pick them up through my mike like many headsets do. It's comfortable enough to wear for long hours straight without any pinching or discomfort at all. I forget that it's on. Light and with enough battery that I don't think I'll ever have to worry about it running out while playing. Sound quality has been great. The only way that I could see that these could noticeably be improved would be with active noise cancelation similar to the newer wireless beats. It's a great headset that should last me a long time.

Warning to everyone with a giant melon like I have. The metal band presses down on the top of my head when I wear it. Non-issue 5 minutes in, minor inconvenience 30 minutes in, headache city 1 hour in, everytime I use it. But as people have said, the overall quality of this thing is great if you don't have a big head.
Agree... If you move it forward more on your head it helps lol

I own these (v2019) and my ears touch the inside. I don't have big ears either. Also, my ears start getting warm after about 30 minutes. I do like them though. At this price I'd say buy if you're looking for a wireless gaming headset.

I'm torn between the HyperX Cloud Alpha's versus these...looked at both SteelSeries and HyperX and cannot make a decision. Any input from the gaming pros?
Hyperx are extremely comfortably and sound isolation is great

Do you have the 2019 version? They say they changed the band profile to help with this.

Second this. I've got the Velcro strap loosened as far as it'll go, and it's only barely big enough so the cups are comfortable on my ears.
Aside from that - stellar. Would buy again for sure if needed.

If you're on PC, SteelSeries has virtual 7.1. Alphas don't
For PC, Razer has a free virtual surround utility that is absolutely excellent and can be used with any headset.

Were you using the original version or this revised 2019 version?
I had the same issue with the original but do not have problems with this new one.
