Steelseries has most of their headsets on sale right now, but the Arctis 7 is the best value in my opinion. I just grabbed one of these at Best Buy a few days ago for $129 and then realized that steelseries started a sale yesterday that includes a free storage bag. So I added the leather earpads for another $15 for a total of $119. No tax charged.

There are also some 10% and 12% coupon codes in you look around, but they won't apply to the sale prices.

Literally just bought the 5s last week on amazon for the same price. Should I send the 5s back for these?

Warning to everyone with a giant melon like I have. The metal band presses down on the top of my head when I wear it. Non-issue 5 minutes in, minor inconvenience 30 minutes in, headache city 1 hour in, everytime I use it. But as people have said, the overall quality of this thing is great if you don't have a big head.
I have a huge head and have no issue with these at all. Maybe only if you have a tall head vs wide.

Would these headphones double for audio via Bluetooth for my iPhone in terms of providing decent audio quality? Looking to knock two birds with one stone if possible.
No Bluetooth, unfortunately.

Have the previous version and would buy them again. Went from HyperX Cloud Revolver DOA to these and don't regret it at all. Have had them for probably about a year and they are great. Battery life is stellar and sound is great, you can really hear direction well in games like PUBG and such.

I see a lot of people comparing this to similarly priced wired headsets. You should only be getting this if you're interested in the convenience of being wireless!

Yes, you're sacrificing some audio quality with this headset compared to wired equivalents, but its all so you don't need to take off your darn headset every time you move 2 feet away from your PC.

How much that is worth varies a lot person to person.

Not wirelessly, no. It can be plugged straight in though.

My wife got me a pair of these for Christmas - my son and I both use them, and the sound quality is great. It does muffle other sounds though, so I find I have to uncover an ear to hear when someone speaks to me.

I have a large-ish (?) head -- but I do not have any issues with the strap across the top.

My only complaint about them is that after about an hour or so, my ears get a little sore from use. This does not bother me too much though, and hands down, I would get them again.

*edit* I specifically went wireless because I was tired of a 6' cord dangling down and getting caught my chair wheels constantly.

I learned the hard way, SteelSeries is all marketing and not so much quality. This isn't a bad price however at MSRP they are significantly over priced. Wish they would spend more time in R&D and try to make a quality product over just marketing marketing marketing a half ass one.
May be the case for a lot of their goods, but not the arctic 7. This is the best gaming headset or pair of headphones for gaming that I've ever used. I consistently hear steps in games that others do not.

I'm torn between the HyperX Cloud Alpha's versus these...looked at both SteelSeries and HyperX and cannot make a decision. Any input from the gaming pros?
If you care about the mic picking up background noise, the steel series is the only choice.. Everything else is crap.. This is coming from call center agents...

For PC, Razer has a free virtual surround utility that is absolutely excellent and can be used with any headset.

Adjust your elastic band or get a new one, if its stretched out, at no point should your head be resting on the metal.

Bought arctis 7 and hyperx cloud flight at the same time. Ended up returning hyperx even though I have a big head. The build quality of arctis 7 just felt so much better imo and more comfortable than hyperx.
