How is this with editing RAF? I'm using Capture 1 but I don't like they way I have to import files. I can only do it directly from my memory card; as opposed to my preference, which is loading originals to an external HD then editing from there. For some reason, Capture 1doesn't recognize the RAFs when transferred to my HD first.

I used Paint Shop Pro to edit Jpegs for about a year; I believe it's interface is similar to Adobe.
Works fine. Loves my Fuji raws. Also, subscription? I'll just use adobe Zii patcher Wink

I have a sub that is expiring soon. I only use a few features (Adobe Camera Raw, content aware fill/heal). Wonder of Photoshop Elements will be enough for me.

How does Elements' camera raw compare with Photoshop's camera raw? Anyone have experience with the latest version of Elements?
It's the same raw engine.

yea i really dislike this subscription model but some of their apps have no competition. Any recommendations on alternatives to Acrobat Pro DC and Illustrator?
Affinity Pro has some great options and they have a sale going on for 20% off. I have both Photo and Designer. Great and growing user base as well.

Any lightroom alternatives? That's the only program I would like to try out.
Yeah, I'm still on Lightroom 5 and have no interest in an annual Adobe subscription. I figure I'm going to have to move on to something else at some point, though I have several years worth of photos cataloged in Lightroom.

This is the regular price. How it classifies as a slick deal is beyond me. B&H lowered the price of this item to $79 three years ago during Black Friday.

If they ever allow 5 installations like Office, I'll consider it.

So, I pay regular price for the entire year up front and get a gift card I have no use for? Very slick...

I would think if it had all Adobe products for this price. Adobe Subscriptions too expensive for me.

Add Picasa, FastStone (my favorite), and Photoshop Express (for most people's needs, it's awesome).
What is Photoshop Express ? is it free??

Unfortunately, it's not the same. I just downloaded the trial version of Elements 2019 and dropped a raw file into the editor to bring up it's raw.

The Elements version of Camera Raw is utter garbage compared to Photoshop's. Only three tabs with very basic features vs 10 on the photoshop version. No support for lens profiles / lens correction (the tab doesn't even appear). So no correction for geometric or chromatic abberations, which is a huge deal breaker for anyone serious about photography.

Also, when dragging the sliders, Elements' version of the raw is very laggy compared to the instant response on the Photoshop's camera raw.

I'm very disappointed. Definitely not a replacement for Adobe Camera Raw that comes with Photoshop.

If I can find a good raw processor with lens correction, and an editor with basic "healing" and content aware fill features, I will definitely buy it.

I refuse to get sucked into adobe subscription but this is a good deal! (For those entrenched)
The only "sale" here is the $25 gift card. The photography plan regular price is $9.99/month. Had it for 2 years. Honestly it's far better than buying stand-alone cause you are always on the latest version without shelling out hundreds of dollars for each app alone with limited version updates.

With this plan you can install either/both Photoshop apps. CC or original desktop. Had this subscription before.

Check out Luminar 3. It's pretty comparable at this point. Their AI enhancement algorithms are getting better and better. They also help you organize your photos somewhat now with their library feature, which is similar to Lightroom. I got it for $49 on sale.

I do like the cloud storage, organization, and portfolio website provided by Adobe that lets you easily post albums to the web. I've always hated dealing with photo organization and backup locally. So, sticking with Adobe CC makes sense to me for now, but Luminar may work better for you depending on your needs.

I currently use Lightroom CC on the 1TB plan without Photoshop but I might switch to this one to learn Photoshop. Thanks for the post OP!

I am not arguing for the standalone adobe products vs CC.
I use affinity photo (one time 30ish bucks).
