My local Ace will let you buy just the cans and then choose the tint at a later date. This is such a great deal.

I thought this is just a thing all companies that sell paint do. Still a good deal.

Great deal! Too bad I bought all of the paint I needed for a remodel a few months ago. Best I got was $7-10 off per gallon, no B1G1. This is a great deal. C&K paint is around $35 a gallon.

Unfortunately, the reviews for the satin finish interior paint in all of their offered brands are pretty negative. I'm probably gonna stick with the Behr Process Corporation or Lowes Valspar.

Edit: Based on CR testing all 3 versions of Behr were top in ratings followed by Benjamin Moore and then Clark + Kensington. The more expensive Valspar Optimus scored lower than the other Valspar variation by Lowes and Royal by Ace scored the least out of the paints Ace offers.

Regardless this is still a great deal if you can find awesome paint for the finish u need. Unfortunately for me Ace offers nothing good in Satin.

Does Ace do color matching, like HD and Lowe's does?

I love the finish from the Royal paint... What I've noticed is it thicker and it harder to paint with. I'm guessing that's part of the reason it scores lower but I like the look and feel of the walls when done. I know "feel" probably is a stupid way to describe a finish and maybe it's all in my head but I like the feel of the wall.

Agreed. It is harder to paint. I thought it was just me. The finish is awesome though.

We were actually looking to paint our bathrooms and was about to buy paint somewhere else. We don't have an Ace close by, but will be in a town with one this weekend. We were going to go with two different colors for the two bathrooms, but thought we could do both with one gallon. But this deal may change that.

Does anyone know what would be the best paint to choose for a bathroom (brand and type) and how much any of these are? I don't see prices on their website and won't have time to go to the store and shop. I'll just need to know what to get and hopefully trust the colors on the website. Although we finally got everyone to agree on a color, so now I'll have to go through that process again since they don't have the same colors Smilie

Poorly.
Clark+Kensington is for people who like the process of painting, and want to repeat it several times per wall.

This should always be the promotion for Valspar - picked-up their medium grade interior paint from Lowe's a few weeks back and it required three coats (on top of Kilz 2 primer) to get the color it was supposed to be and there are still some streaky areas here and there. Had to buy an additional gallon because of this, ended up costing about $75 to paint my smallest bedroom.

Can not get it to show me the paint. Always wants my address. Chose store and that is all it will do again and again and again.

Guess Urethane paint is all they have at any store anywhere near me.

The site is supper poor at saying not at that store.

No matter what I do it will not allow me to select paint. I guess this store does not offer online ordering.
