Curious why the warranty for this is one year from the seller, not the manufacturer? Otherwise seems like a nice deal. My 8+ is still going strong though.

No mention of that, I doubt it.

This seller seems to list that one year seller warranty everything they sell, new and not new, that I can see https://www.ebay.com/str/quickshipelectronics

If anyone buys this, register the serial number to check the available manufacturer warranty from Samsung directly https://www.samsung.com/us/support/warranty/

I agree with the above - it doesn't mention it, so I wouldn't bet on it.

Messaged them, said no. Locked to T-Mo network. So either use T-Mo for 40 days then request for unlock, or eBay unlock.

I highly doubt it I got the this phone straight from Samsung.com and T-Mo didn't no give me the unlock code. They said the phone is not from their system, so they couldn't locate the unlock code.

Wouldn't it be unlocked if you bought it from Samsung

Their are different options to choose different variants when ordering: unlocked, t-mo, sprint, vez, etc....

I'm not sure between the different between the LTE bands between the unlocked vs T-mo variant, but I've heard that the unlocked version is missing the Wifi calling & Video Call feature. I thought i could unlocked later on. I've tried their unlocked app, it's failed...called in their T-Mo cs, they said they could locate the phone on their ends, so no unlocked code was given to me.

There is no unlock code. Tmobile uses an app called device unlock. It will unlock the phone once you have the required service days. I think it's 40 days
