Please do not buckle your kid in the carseat with a puffy jacket on even when it's cold out. Watch the clip below for crash test with babies buckled in with puffy jackets.

I always take the jacket off, buckle them in snug and put it over them if they are cold.
Have a wonderful day, moms and dads and be safe. 😊

The latch is a great feature. I have the turbobooster and it does slide around on my leather seats when nobody is seated in it. You are supposed to buckle it in with the seatbelt when not in use, so it doesn't become a projectile in the event of a crash, but it's a pain to buckle it in when my kid gets out and then have to unbuckle it when she goes to get back in. The latch feature is worth it.

I am looking for our first booster for my kid. Is this a good one. There are so many options that it gets confusing.
Thanks

It depends on how old your child is. I would recommend a Britax Frontier or Pinnacle. It is a harnessed booster that keeps them upright until they are mature enough to not lean forward or lean sideways to reach for something. Most kids aren't ready for a standard booster until the age of 6 or 7. The Britax gives you options for kids who are no longer rear facing (rear facing should be until the age of 4 or 5)
My kid is 4 yrs old. Around 32 lbs. We are using Britax marathon car seat. It gets really tight with winter coat on. I think I will need a boaster for next winter that's why am asking.
What age or weight did u transition to boaster?

Thanks

We bought a Chico one a few weeks ago and when I went to put in in each of our vehicle's, the back did not sit flush against the back of the seat due to the headrest. So we returned it. Anyone have this issue? If so, does it still work once your child is buckled in, or does the back move around too much? Thanks
