Decent deal OP - thanks for sharing. This deal has been out there for roughly a week or more. Same as as the other Ryzen 7 2700 deal from Newegg for $299.

Thanks! I never knew about this! I'm pretty proud I managed to only bottleneck my build 2.68% waiting for random deals when I built this a few years ago.

Clearly not... Why is it not legit?

Edit: I've looked into it more. It's legit if you use it right. All PC's will be bottlenecked (on average, since different tasks need different resources) to some percentage by this definition. This just kinda points out what your weakest link is in your rig. If you have a high percentage then it is worth looking into. Otherwise it's not really important.

Is it worth jumping on one of these Ryzen 7 bundle deals, or wait for the next-gen Ryzens? What would the MSRP of a comparable next-gen Ryzen CPU alone likely be near launch?

Good question. When are the next gen processors expected to come out?

3-4 months. That's the reason for these deals.

Different brand/capacity of SSD as the $299 --> $279 --> $299 other deal with the HP EX900 250 GB SSD.
