I like that Tesla gives you nice big wheels in every trim. Audi,MB, and BMW gives you funny looking wheels in low trims.... I would buy a Tesla in a few years(when ev get to 25% of market) .. it is early for ev imo

Which specific model?
2018 Tesla Model S P100D, red paint, enhanced autopilot, 19 inch carbon sonic wheels, MSRP was: $142,000 before destination and doc fee. I got it for $78,900 including destination, doc fee. $65,300 off.

Trade in value is around $88-94k, not sure if I'll keep it... Probably slickest deal ever.

Right... you really think Tesla would sell the world's fastest production sedan for the same price as Toyota Camry? Are you being serious right now?
To be fair, they are selling cars faster than they can make them

The thing is it's kinda both. One of the best cars ever but does also have qc issues.

I want to wish all of you luck in getting parts and repairs for your cars after Tesla goes under! This may be sooner than you imagine.

I loved mine the first two years but after numerous updates and super long service waits, I traded it in for a Maserati, not as fast a whole different experience. Should just traded for the model x in hind sight.

better to buy a pre owned one with 25k to 50k miles at 60-70% off. these are built like tanks and can last really long if you take good care of em.
Model S was first for sale in 2012, hardly long enough to make a statement like they'll "last really long"...

i do agree though, if you want one, like any premium car... just buy a used one, preferably still under warranty, their value's drop like rocks. people that are buy 130K$ cars (or 80K$ cars for that matter) aren't going to buy used ones, resale goes to absolute shit.

in your pipe dream...
TSLA will probably be $42 in a year
If you actually believe that, then you should short the stock, you'd make millions at current price.

If you dont actually believe that, then strop trolling.

If you really really want a Tesla then just lease one for a few years.
Don't blow that much money on purchasing one.
I drive about 25k miles/yr...please me to that lease that makes sense for someone like me. I agree, it works out for a lot of people, but not folks that drive a lot.

They have a nice Model X in Oregon for $74k before discounts That's a pretty good deal as it includes Autopilot. 0-60 only 6 seconds so not exactly a performance car. range 237 miles

6 seconds to 60mph isn't a performance car? I know we've seen more ridiculous numbers but let's not forget the big picture. That 0-60 time will outrun 90% of cars on the road. In an SUV form factor no-less.
