Anyone know current price in costco after $4 discount this month? Can't remember if they sell 8pk or 6pk but I remember it was 10oz pack.

Just bought this at Costco last week. 8 pouches cost $7.99 after discount. So... still just $1 per pouch - same as this deal. Applause

These meals are quick and easy to prepare. You just pop them in the microwave for a minute. They taste great too.
Or you can eat them raw. Taste much better than canned beans when uncooked.

If you know how to make this, it makes the deal way overpriced. I've made this and although it was very similar in flavor, it still wasnt exactly it. I'm sure someone on here knows how to replicate.

Also, I think costco sells the 8pk for $8 every now and then, when they put it on sale.

Do you have a recipe you could share or link to that you could recommend? I have not found any recipes similar to this that I like.

Thank you!

No thanks. I'll just go over to one of many neighbors making this any day of the week.
Can you ask one of your neighbors for a recipe?

Nope. I eat it as is. Cooking isn't my thing.

Great price, takes great. If you're looking to replicate this at home, look for "dal makhani". The price is comparable.to when on sale at Costco

desiyankee,

do you have a Dal Makhani recipe that you recommend? One you would not mind sharing or linking to? I have tried to make Dal Makhani several times with no luck. Dal Tadka I can make like a champ- but Makhani gives me trouble and I would eat this several times a month if not week if I had a good recipe!

Thank you!

Buy and return the previous orders? Not ethical but just dealing with the system
Usually when you return a food item, the store will not sell it due to liability tampering concerns and so it will get thrown out. Please consider that before returning food for no reason.

Thanks anyway! I too love to eat, lol. But if I could make this in bulk I would love it. I go through a few quarts of Dal tadka each week and making it myself has allowed me to tweak it how I want and save a ton of cash. I would love to be able to make a good Dal Makhani! Thanks for the quick reply though!

It's 7.99 after a discount for 8pk, so essentially the same price.

Taste good but get ready for rapid reports from the rear flanks later in the day.

It goes in a returns pile, most of which goes back to the manufacturer for a small credit to the store. Manufacturer tossed em. That's been my experience at least
