Milwaukee M12 FUEL Hackzall kit w/ 4Ah battery and FREE Oscillating Multi-Tool or 6Ah M12 battery for $179

I've been looking for an entry point to the M12 line w/o the stupid 1.5 Ah batteries and I think this is it. And this is the newer Hackzall.

Or ACME (& a couple others) are offering free M12 6Ah battery w/ Hackzall kit instead of Multi-tool.

Ive got a ton of these MW 12v tools. I just ordered a generic 4ah battery from Amazon for $18. Works great. Just fyi. No need to pay the ridiculous MW prices for these bigger batteries.

Beware that you will still need a battery for the oscillating multi-tool. Still a good deal though.
You know that you can use the same battery from the hackzall to the the oscillating tool

Lol...I thought it was a old slider slider style battery and upon further zooming in ...with my glasses this time...you are correct. Found a clip of someone using the battery with the oscillating tool and looks like the L shape battery would not cause a issue so all my concerns were for nothing.

This be a terrible deal for the M12 hackzall. For the fuel it's ok. I don't think Milwaukee makes a brushless multi-tool. I've got a lot of M12 batteries from 1.5ah to 6ah, depends on needs but I'd get the tool probably at this point over another battery. The only time I wear out the 4ah is with with circular saw. Just don't do enough projects.

This is one of my favorite tools. Just demoed my downstairs bathroom. This was key is cutting some pipes that a normal recip would never fit into. Use it of cutting tree branches. Haven't taken out my corded recip since I got this.
Just have to be a little patient, stroke length is 5/8 of an inch vs 1 1/4 for most recips, so will take a little longer to cut.

I ordered a couple compact 3Ah batteries. I've been chicken to try the off brands on eBay. Maybe I will now with these cheaper tools.

The Home Depot kit has been that price for weeks. Oscillating tool is not Fuel. Not worth it. If Oscillating tool was Fuel, it would be a different story.

You are much better off going with the extra battery
I don't think Milwaukee does a brushless Multi-tool. I've got the M18, but this small one looks super handy for tight spots..

Anyone know how loud and powerful the multi tool is? I have to wear earplugs for my old Nextec 12v multi tool and it just doesn't have the power that I would like.
