There are three individual indicator stripes corresponding with 50, 70 and 100 degrees so you can interpolate or extrapolate the remaining propane volume.

I've had one of these for about 6 years, it works very well. Is it scientifically correct down to the last drop? I have no idea. But I do know for $8 it does a bang up job of giving me a near accurate visual reference of when I need to refill the tank...and for 8 bucks, that's all I need it to do.

i have a gauge that came with my tank from Costco and it seems to be working as intended for two years now
