BOE07AF....guess a BOE panel. Quick google search shows issues switching to 60Hz. Haven't tried myself

Not a question about this particular model, but in general -

Is there any expected schedule when laptops with next gen CPUs, that will have the hardware level fix for Spectre and Meltdown bugs, be available?

What is your build date on the laptop box where the serial is? Mine is 08/2018.

Mine is 10/2018. I updated the BIOS. Going to give it a few days at 60 Hz to see if it bothers me. Amazon deal of the day is a RTX 2060 Alienware M15 for the same price. Pretty sure I'll stick with the Razer...more compact and I rarely use laptops off plug
