Price just dropped to $159.99 shipped from newegg. No tax for many states. In comparison, Microcenter B&M has this on special for $149.99 (but for most of us that also means tax and no free mouse).

Free gaming mouse auto-attaches when adding to cart. Including in combos with other items.

Full list of newegg combo in the link below. Some are quite good - I just bought one Peace

Edit: Some useful info for those who don't already know..
-this includes the intel stock cooler (just watched an unboxing vid to confirm)
-this is a locked processor, so no multiplier overclocking of the cpu
-this is compatible with 8th gen Intel boards but only after a bios update (z370, b360, etc.)
-this cpu does not have integrated graphics - you will need to install a dedicated craphics card in a build with a 9400F.

Probably trying to dump this turd CPU, b/c no one wants it. No OC is a waste of money. The media didn't even bother to review it LOL.

Only a fool would buy it. A sane person would buy a 1700/2600/2700. I can actually get a 2700 for this price.
Guess you're directly caling me a fool then. I'm not about to start calling random people names on the intenet.

I'll just say that this chip is directly competing against the 2600 at this price, and, outperforms it slightly in most current games.

Of course if you'll utilize all threads a ryzen cpu will be better. That's why there are different products for different uses.

And no, you can't buy a 2700 for $160.

9400 destroys 1700 in gaming is 5-10% better then the 2600/2700 in gaming
