Lenovo is having a sale on their monitors, this one is currently $275 but $248 with coupon code MONITOREXTRA10, then ~$270 after taxes depending on your location. This is the cheapest 27 inch IPS panel with 1440p resolution and VESA mount I have ever found.

There is also the Lenovo L27q 27" Monitor for $239 but without the VESA mounting points or USB-C.

It is a ThinkVision monitor for production, not a gaming monitor. 60Hz is perfectly acceptable for its designed use.

A few of us have these monitors at work. They are great monitors. They have been my daily driver for almost a year and 1/2. I have a pair on Monoprice dual monitor arms and Monoprice sit stand desk. You can drive both video and USB hub if you have Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C with DisplayPort out. You can always also daisy chain with DisplayPort which is what I'm doing.

Good deal if you need one now or need the USB-C but the Acer CB271HU goes on sale from time to time for about $220 at Newegg. Also a 27" IPS 1440p with VESA mount.

No refresh rate listed in tech specs, wtf? Assuming a paltry 60hz?

If you dont want USB-C or VESA, then the Lenovo L27q is only $239. The silver frame and edgeless design is well worth the $20 increase over the ugly Acer.

The Acer V277U is on sale at Newegg right now for $239 plus another $10 off with promo code
27in IPS QHD VESA, similar bezel to this Lenovo.

The Acer CB271HU has been on sale at newegg for $209AC, 27in IPS QHD VESA, slightly thicker bezel but with speakers.

All that is to say, this is a good deal given the specs and quality and that it can act as a USB-C hub (and apparently includes charging over USB-C).

I got the Staples/Dell USB-C deal a few months back and love it. This one looks great too. If you have USB-C it's awesome to get it all with one cable.

Does this one also deliver power to charge the connected laptop?

a couple of the reviews make it appear that it does charge the laptop. Not sure what power level though.

For those considering a L-series for multi monitor use, it's worth the cost to move up to a P-series.

The P-series have a factory calibration that means colors match on all monitors straight out of a box. I can attest that at one point, I had a purchase of 4 monitors in the same shipment, that all arrived with different panel output that made calibration extremely difficult.

Also, a fun fact my Lenovo rep shared with me: monitors ending in H denotes a Hub (or USB-C)
