I just wanted to throw a warning out to people looking to buy the Octane Impact Wrench, that Home Depot has simply added the term Octane to the online website. They are the exact same wrench that was being offered before.

I stopped in to a Home Depot today to look for some deals. Nothing but $2 off $50 type crap. I also took a look at the "new" Octane Wrench, only to find they are selling the standard brushless 5x version as an octane. Looking at the website, you can see a picture of a wrench with the Octane branding, but none of the boxes showed said branding on the tool or the box. Also, if you look at the reviews, they are form 2017.... Long before this version "came out."

I've been brand loyal for almost a decade, but I think I may be switching to Makita after this....

PFFT, all my stuff is Rigid and here's why. Lifetime replacement on EVERYTHING if you register it. All tools, batteries, chargers, etc, if they break, they are replaced for free.

Everything will eventually break. Do you want to pay for it again, or get it replaced for free?
