Was originally $249 which is what I paid for it, it's a great looking toilet. Yes, there are cheaper ones out there but none that look this elegant for that price.

IMO the style of the toilet itself is much more "elegant/clean/modern" compared to other toilets within this price range. Just my personal preference, not everyone has to agree.

Might look nice but if it can't flush a bucket of golf balls down what good is it?

I don't have this toilet but;

Ignore the 2 that gave it 1 stars. Installation is the same as any toilet as far as needing the "correct" wax ring. That's all on how your floor was installed. Sometimes they don't remove the flange & mount it on the new flooring. Buy a thicker $5 wax ring. That's on you, & that also goes for the guy without a socket set required to reach the studs.

I went to the manufacturer's website and the reviews are similarly low due to the wax ring.
It appears that they provide a European wax ring which is thinner than ones used here in the US.
If you call them, they apparently sent you two of the Euro wax rings that should fix it.

I recommend getting the non-wax rings as they seal better and allow you to re-seat the toilet if you didn't align it correctly the first time.
Worked perfectly on the last toilet I installed and will be less messy should you have to change the toilet.

I tried one of the non wax rings before and I had to struggled with it for quite a while to get the toilet to stop wobbling. I ended up having to trim it down to get it to seat without wobbling. Since then, I've used wax rings and it's been much easier. Once, you've done it a couple times, I don't think it's that difficult to line it up properly on the first go, especially if you have a helper to guide it.

The type of people that buy these kinds of toilets are willing to replace them within 2 years when they remodel their bathroom again.

I really like this toilet but the proprietary toilet seat has me concerned.

Most toilets, even more expensive ones, come with a cheap-looking plastic seat. Usually you can get a nicer seat.
