I'm a big Milwaukee guy, although I am a DIY/homeowner and not a contractor or anything like that. Looking back, I should have just gone regular M18/Brushless instead of OneKey/FUEL. It really doesn't make much sense for someone like me who is a weekend warrior to own the top of the line versions of the tool because I don't use it for my livelihood. Also, they regular/Brushless versions go on sale much more frequently. You can use the money you save on the dispensable items like blades and sanding papers, etc.

As a FUEL owner, and this is directed to the other DIY/homeowners, you do not need FUEL. Just go with the regular stuff. You can complete a collection much quicker and even if you wanted the FUEL version, you could still buy it. Just my two cents.

This seems to be a pretty great deal on it's face, because it includes a hammer drill which is pretty rare in these sets from what I've seen.

I usually just buy tools on OfferUp and Craiglist. M18 fuel usually go for around $100 each.

Looking for feedback from owners of this type of battery.... Decent runtime? I know the use dictates the the runtime, just curious if it's a decent overall battery.

It's good for drills and drivers, it would last about 15 minutes with the m18 vacuum and higher uptake tools. My m18 milwaukee stuff came with 2.0mah batteries 4 years ago and I can still get a decent sized afternoon project in without them dying. With the cordless circular saw you could probably get 20 or 30 cuts with it, which is fine for me. You wouldn't want one of the huge 9 or 12 mah batteries on any of these tools as it would double or even triple their weight.

Hoping a combo w/ jigsaw pops up. Either D or barrel handle, not picky

The Rigid set seems like a much better deal. It comes with a 7-1/4" circular saw.

I've had better luck with the Milwaukee batteries vs. most any other brand. Went from DeWalt to Milwaukee a couple years back, spent a few thousand, but most everything I have is Fuel, both the 12v and 18v.

Majority of batteries I see in the 'battery recycle' bins at both HD and Lowes are DeWalt, Ryobi, Rigid, Black and Decker. I scrounge the bins every so often looking for intact Milwaukee batts - as I've got both an M12 and M18 battery that were dropped (from a roof) and cracked (but still working fine), looking to swap cases.

Wish I purchased one of those 5 piece kits instead of my drill/driver kit! Really wanting to get a circular saw, and the bare tool price is so expensive.
