Your bass will hit loud and clear with one of these reliable and cool-running amps. The versatile R1200-1D puts out 400 watts RMS to a 4-ohm sub, but will crank out 1,200 watts RMS when it's running a 1-ohm subwoofer setup.
$329 at Crutchfield and has great reviews - 41 (out of 43) 5 star reviews.

$409 at Rockford Fosgate site, but more info and specs available:

Seems like a solid deal.

Also $252 and free shipping at walmart.com (2 different 3rd party sellers), and same price from several sellers on eBay.

I just so happened to be looking for a good 1000w amp. Was about to go with an American Base but this is a good deal. Sanged one up. Thanks.

So cheap now. Back in the early 90s, these car amps were so expensive.

Yes! Back when I was into cars and had a low paying job they were very expensive and took me forever to save up for them. Now that I can afford them with no problems I don't need them. Same goes for the double din DVD/NAV radios. Frustrates me when I see these prices. Lol

Yeah, too old to be thumping and wasting trunk space on 12-inch woofers these days.
