I'd be in on some of these but I hate those limited 90 day warranties

Scoff if you must, but once you've had Breville, you never want to go back! (at least as far as countertop oven is concerned)

We got one a few months back and we love it. I was concerned about the reviews that talked about the door not sealing perfectly at the top, but it hasn't been an issue. Steam comes through every once in a while, but I don't notice it getting hot in the area. Would definitely buy again.

I respectfully disagree. We love airfryers and I found the breville took much longer to airfry. One of my many reasons for using an air fryer. That said it is a great toaster over. But we sent it back after 2 weeks despite getting a great deal.

Looks like the button labels wash off for the digital toaster oven. I guess it requires a coating of nail polish before use to make sure they hold up? Seems to be by far the biggest complaint against the 135 model.

Not me. I've had two of the top rated 800XL models from Breville, back to back, and while I love the size, the dials on BOTH models were horrible after a year or so. Very inexact And the buttons would require multiple pushes to "take". And the digital controls are sold as a plus! Give me analog dials any day.

They also both died within 3 year or less, the second one just 2 days ago. For the prices they ask, I don't think that's very long (not to mention the annoying buttons and dials which they had not fixed by the time I bought my second one, years later)

I went with the Cuisinart TOB260 - hopefully I get better results!

Normally I would jump on certified refurbs, but my luck with toasters is not great obviously.

FWIW, the cheapest I could find a new TOB 260 for was $236 (after CB) at Overstock. Cuisinarts have a MUCH better warranty on them than Breville's, so just be aware you will be losing a nice 3 year warranty (Breville has a crappy ONE).

That's because it's not an 'air fryer'... not intended to be. The Breville is amazing...
