Didn't work for me, maybe because I already had Edge on mobile? I deleted the app and reinstalled but just got the normal 100 daily points. Will report back and edit this comment if anything changes.

So you go through all that work for $0.50 worth of credit? 😛
Well I've gotten hundreds of dollars free from Microsoft. This will work out to about five dollars, not a lot but free is free in my book.
But I suppose it isn't for everyone, so please stay way. Oh wait, too late, you did take the time to read the thread and post about it. So I guess we could ask what your time is:worth? Rofl2

Worked for me. I already had Edge on mobile on a couple phones. Uninstalled Edge on one of the phones, scanned the QR code to re-install it. Did a bunch of searches and got the 500 pts immediately as well as increase in pts from 100 to 200 pts for mobile searches. Easy way to get 500 pts + 100x30 days = 3500 extra pts over the next 30 days vs. not doing this promo.

While this isn't a "hot deal," I am glad to know about an easy way to earn extra MS Rewards points. Thanks Bru20!

How does one post a deal directly to "free digital" anyway?

To op directions, I would add step 2A. After installing app, open app and first page should have a blue bar asking to sign into account. Click that and hopefully u then will see a banner with the 500 point offer and 200 point daily mobile search.

From previous experience, u wont get points unless u click through offer banner,

Follow rest of op directions. Just in case, I went back to m.bing.com for each of 10 searches

It's targeted. 1 frequently used Microsoft Account had the offer, 2 infrequently used accounts didn't have it

It all adds up. I just started doing these things about a month ago and have already saved up about $20 dollars worth of Xbox cash. I don't usually spend money on DLC and stuff but since I've been playing a lot of Rainbow Six Siege, I decided I'd use this free money to buy the newest season pass.

Shouldn't matter, you should still be able to use the OP's link to get the other accounts signed up for this promo.

Few posts on reddit suggest using the QR code install method vs. just installing Edge from the Play Store directly, there's also some reports of this promo having problems with iOS devices (I have Android and it worked for me). Good luck to the rest!

I think you're trying a little too hard to sell this non-deal.
Hey, a deal is a deal! If you don't like it go find a forum for complainers and harrass someone there!
I'm a bad girl and have several "family" accounts that "we all" attempt to do daily, I have to say tho that even tho if you are a MR user most already know but thanks for the post. We live WELL below poverty level and EVERY penny counts. I have had issues with the edge app on several of my devices where it isn't registering the searches so I've given up on it, I should take the time to see if I can look at the breakdown of points received to see if I've gotten my 500 on the accounts. I don't go out of my way to do the daily max of searches because I was shut down once for being accused of using an auto bot. I had to send them an explanation that it was just my 3 year old grandson looking a images, that adds up quickly.

I don't need to sell anything, as pretty much the same exact deal two months ago was Popular. I guess its all in the eye of the beholder. And now you have replied twice on a thread you have not interest in. lmfao

I added your portion but original instructions do say to log in once you install the Edge app. I neither saw nor clicked on any banner, just did my searches and got my bonus points. Honestly it really doesn't matter how clear the instructions are, people will still have issues. Even though, at least for Android users, it couldn't be any simpler. The part people seem to overlook is to get the install link texted. They want to use the QR code or whatever, but giving your mobile phone number, receiving the link, clicking on link seems pretty easy to me.
