Can anyone comment if either of the generators are decent for sump pump and minor electronics in case electric goes out?

I never knew they made propane-powered generators of this size... seems like a great way to avoid clogging the carburetor if you use gasoline but don't run it often.

Sump Pump is probably fine. Minor electronics that have CPU/RAM may suffer without line conditioning

I have been very satisfied with my Sportsman 2000W generator. I bought it 8 years ago, primarily for tailgating, and it's still going strong. I had to replace a rotted fuel line after my brother left it sit outside in the rain for a few months when he borrowed it. We have abused our generator and it still starts on the first or second pull and runs great.

The 4000w dual fuel is very tempting.

Not really as they still require gasoline to run, something Venezuela is also having problems supplying.

Impressive, I have not had the same experience. Despite changing the oil ever run, draining it for winter and keeping it out of the elements.

Took me a good 20 pulls last wk to start it. I start it every other wk.
