Price matches typically DO work in conjunction with BOGO/B2G1F sales at Target. Some employees may try and deny it as double dipping, but their system should apply the sale promotion automatically after any PM's still. It worked as recently as the B2G1F sale in February.

Sale prices to price match video games in this sale to (to make the deal more palatable):

Kingdom Hearts III (PS4/XB1) - $40 @ Gamestop as of 4/7
Spiderman - $39.99 - pretty much everywhere (Best Buy, Amazon, etc)

And it isn't good either.
You're usually always better off buying from Amazon since Target sells at MSRP price for games. You should support your local game store if paying the MSRP price.
Bump up price to MSRP, offer bogo and sell it to us as a form of discount - oldest trick in the book. Apparently people still fall for it. Include first party Nintendo games then we'll talk. Target is easily the least competitive major retailer when it comes to gaming. Somehow worse than Walmart lol

Most of these games have dropped to $40 or less lately.

How overpriced some of these board games are, they should be buy one get one free. They are really driving the quality down. It's a shame.

That article says god of war and another game all got permanent price drops as well, but those are still more than 39$ at multiple retailers as well.... i think this article may be wrong. Maybe they meant on PSN?

I don't know, if you search Target, Walmart, Best Buy or Amazon it's been $39.99 or less since the article posted. Maybe it's a misprint by Target or they are trying to be sneaky.

Yep, a few of these have been close to 50% off MSRP on their own recently.
