Not was, is. Crucial is a Micron brand and that's why Crucial's SSDs say "Crucial by Micron [anandtech.com]". This is an OEM/Enterprise version of the Crucial MX300 with the same warranty, so needless to say a great deal for reliable 32-layer 3D TLC drive with DRAM. About the same performance as the ADATA SU800 but much cheaper so would make a good drive for OS/programs and games.

I'm so tired of people complaining about speeds when spending this much... like, damn, dude, why are you expecting top nvme performances??? Spend an extra $50 if you're really that concerned with read and write speeds.

Any normal human wouldn't notice the ms difference in boot time. In41

Micron 1100 is OEM version of Crucial MX300, so any reviews of that should apply.
It's not as fast as the Samsung EVO 860.

Looks like crap. Sold by a third party.

Pass.
"opaque epoxy conformal coating that is applied at the factory during the manufacturing process for FIPS 140-2 compliance. This coating functions as the physical security boundary of the device."

Seems decent enough as a basic entry level drive for most builds. Far cheaper than most SSDs right now, and my parents sure won't know the difference.
