The SWAC Premium Plan is now $45 ($40 with autopay discount). $10 cheaper than before. It doesn't include the UBER credit anymore but it does have Tidal Hi-Fi now. Look at attachment for the difference.

Advantage Unlimited Plus: $35
Advantage Unlimited Premium: $45

Regular Unlimited Plus: $70
Regular Unlimited Premium: $80

On SWAC, to change plan, go to change plan and select the Unlimited Plan. After that, click "Continue to Review". At the point, click on "Manage Services" and select the Premium add-on for $10 more. You have the option to have it go in effect right away or next billing cycle.

Not that I'm complaining, but as someone who's been with Sprint since SERO came out... I don't understand why Sprint would take a heavily discounted employee referral plan, add more feature, and drop the price by $10. The business logic doesn't make sense to me.

Playing devil's advocate, why would someone stay on SERO instead of switching to SWAC?
Exactly.... I haven't converted yet as I'm waiting for the catch...

As previously noted in other SD threads:
I emailed and a couple hours later I got a phone call from "executive & regulatory services" saying she was going to escalate my request and will follow up with me next week.

Seems like overkill for wanting to switch from SERO to SWAC.

When I try to bump up to the $45 plan, my $5 autopay disappears and the total comes up to $55 instead of $45?

Seems relevant:

has michael confirmed this? might not be worth converting to these and holding out on the grandfather plans as long as you can...
this is the letter i was referring to that they sent after 3 billing cycles.

Thanks to that original Reddit poster for sharing his/her personal experience and alerting us to Sprint's diabolical plan.

I remember comments/concerns expressed on FatWallet when SERO rolled out. There were those who warned that it was a "bait and switch" effort, by Sprint and that we might benefit for a couple of years; but, then...

It's taken 12+ years; but now, it (finally) appears that they were right. Sprint now wants to reduce my $50/month plan to $30 and in addition, give me a 50gb hotspot, international roaming, Hulu and Tidal. How insulting! Do they think that we skin our knuckles when we walk? Next thing you know, they'll be trying to convince us that the Earth isn't flat...

Will it be grandfathered after the merger and will service improve?
That's anyone's guess but for what it's worth Sprint LTE download speeds have been documented by increases in the past year from 70-80 mbps to over 120 mbps in some areas and is now only slightly slower than TMobile on average. Verizon is still the best performing provider.

Wow. Thanks for the update. Things move really fast. I didn't realize Verizon took the top spot for speed. Just earlier this week, AT&T was on top and Verizon was on bottom. A few days really makes a difference!

Also Sprint already includes extended T-Mobile LTE roaming.

anybody upgraded from SWAC plus to premium using the Change Plan method within your account? As mentioned in a previous post, it shows me that I would lose my $5 autopay credit if upgrade.
