$45.00
+16 Deal Score

The SWAC Premium Plan is now $45 ($40 with autopay discount). $10 cheaper than before. It doesn't include the UBER credit anymore but it does have Tidal Hi-Fi now. Look at attachment for the difference.

Advantage Unlimited Plus: $35
Advantage Unlimited Premium: $45

Regular Unlimited Plus: $70
Regular Unlimited Premium: $80

On SWAC, to change plan, go to change plan and select the Unlimited Plan. After that, click "Continue to Review". At the point, click on "Manage Services" and select the Premium add-on for $10 more. You have the option to have it go in effect right away or next billing cycle.

If you read my case I too got trouble from $55 to $45 so I chat to get it. But he told me few things (I already set up Prime and Tidal):

- Removed 10G Mexico, Canada and replace with unlimited data, talk, text.
- No auto pay discount.
- No Uber.
- Removed Tidal and replace with Tidal HiFi, no idea the differences.
- Prime stays the same.
- Something about Lookout I don't remember.

So after I got $45 I only need to re-apply Tidal HiFi. I haven''t activated Hulu yet so I don't know. It would be better if auto pay is there to reduce the price down to $40 and bring back Uber.
I contacted "Employee Phone Programs" over the weekend (before upgrading from Advantage Unlimited Plus which I migrated to, from SERO, in 2/2019) and was provided this feature list for the Advantage Unlimited Premium plan:

The $45 Advantage Unlimited Premium Plan includes the following:

• $5/mo/line discount with active AutoPay enrollment

• Unlimited Canada/Mexico data roaming

• Streaming Full HD Video

• 100 GB LTE Mobile Hotspot

• Amazon prime with Twitch Prime,

• Lookout Premium Plus

• Hulu ( one per acct. )

• Tidal HiFI

plus existing features from Advantage Plus.

As a side note, I ran into similar confusion with TIDAL, after upgrading to the Premium Plan and was advised by one Sprint Customer Service representative (and her supervisor) that the Advantage Unlimited Premium plan does not include TIDAL. I thanked them for their time and contacted customer service via chat, to follow-up. I explained the apparent "discrepancy"; this representative apologized for the confusion and was able to reinstate my subscription within a few minutes.

Bottom line, if there's an issue, follow-up until you find that person who can fix it. As we found with SERO, many customer service reps (and apparently, their supervisors) are not familiar with the details of these employee plans and it's often just finding someone that has the appropriate level of expertise, that makes the difference.

If I'm halfway into an annual Amazon prime subscription, how would the amazon benefit operate? Subscription a extended by a month every month? No benefit until my own subscription expires?
Contact Amazon customer service, and you can have them apply a pro-rated refund for your remaining Prime membership.

Not that I'm complaining, but as someone who's been with Sprint since SERO came out... I don't understand why Sprint would take a heavily discounted employee referral plan, add more feature, and drop the price by $10. The business logic doesn't make sense to me.
Consistency. It looks like they're trying to get rid of all of the "legacy" special plans and consolidate down to just SWAC. The current pricing isn't related to SERO, it's just what they're using for the current SWAC pricing, and they're now moving the SERO people to it to simplify things

Having multiple different former employee+friends/family plans out there is harder to manage. It's not surprising that Spring is doing something like this. Honestly, I'm surprised they waited this long.

There are now terms about them being able to limit video resolution and total usage. I think it was HD video and 50GB or something like that. My guess is they are trying to get rid of the people using SERO for their home internet access.
SWAC is actually a lot better for use as a home internet service, as it includes Mobile Hot Spot, which SERO doesn't. The 50GB (or 100GB for the Premium version) is the data cap for Mobile Hot Spot and VPN/P2P.

People who are getting hung up on SERO not having language around throttling or data prioritization and such need to remember: that isn't guaranteed forever. Sprint can change the terms anytime they want by just notifying you. They can also get rid of the plans entirely, which is what it sounds like they're doing (converting all SERO accounts to SWAC).

Having multiple different former employee+friends/family plans out there is harder to manage. Converting all their old legacy employee/friends/family discount plans into a single entry makes sense. It's not surprising that Spring is doing something like this. Honestly, I'm surprised they waited this long.

Agreed. Don't know why everyone is getting worked up about that. I figured Sprint was throttling data on SERO anyway because it was always slow as molasses.

Tidal HiFi provides better quality audio vs Tidal Premium. Premium uses lower bitrate for it's song but HiFi uses CD quality bitrate.
Tidal Premium costs $9.99
Tidal HiFi costs $19.99

Don't know where you're living but here in SoCal where their cell towers are everywhere I got a decent speeds with some dead spots.

About throttling I've tested before with no signs of slowing down: 3 TBs, yes it's a T, of data for 2 weeks. Right now I'm testing SWAC $45 at about 200 GB from yesterday without any noticeable of slower speeds. FYI, both my house and work place are about 200 yards straight lines from their towers.

so are you saying the new premium plan is worth it over the older one because of the higher quality bitrate inside of Tidal HiFi? the older deal included 12 months of Uber credits, which is a nice touch. I wouldn't mind having a lower tier Tidal premium subscription with the lower bitrate and continual Uber credits on the premium plan.

How can I convert my old SERO 500 plan to this?
Quote from romerohiker
:
As noted in a previous thread, I can confirm that legacy SERO plans can be converted to SWAC plan. If you've been waiting for Sprint to contact you and have decided that this migration to SWAC would work for you, you can initiate the migration. I've had the SERO 500 plan, for several years and after reading other threads regarding this planned migration to SWAC, decided to contact Sprint.

As suggested in a recent Reddit thread, I sent an email to Sprint's CEO: michel.combes@sprint.com , requesting conversion of my SERO plan to SWAC and within 30 minutes received a follow-up email from Sprint Customer Care advising that my plan was converted to "Advantage Unlimited Plus"; but, was also given the option to upgrade to:

**** Please be advised your lines are also eligible for the Advantage
Unlimited Premium Plan. *****

Advantage Unlimited Premium Plan includes the following:
• $55 Advantage Unlimited Premium Plan
• Available for new SWAC/EWD family lines and migrations for existing
SWAC/EWD family lines
• $5/mo/line discount with active AutoPay enrollment
• Unlimited Canada/Mexico data roaming
• Streaming Full HD Video
•Includes 100 GB MHS along with Amazon prime,
•Outlook / Lookout Premium Plus
•12 month limited time Uber promotional credit plus existing features
from Advantage Plus.

Update: The premium plan is now $45 before autopay discount, but no longer includes Uber credits. For those that don't use Uber, but pay for Amazon Prime, that now makes this plan the best deal.

Update: You can dial *2 from your Sprint phone to have your account converted. https://community.sprint.com/t5/E...swAdDfoPeA

I PM'd someone from reddit thread 4-5 months ago... maybe still worth looking there.

I have a SERO plan currently and would love to switch over to SWAC but i have no idea who the employee was that originally offer the SERO plan to me 10+ years ago. I am afraid if I attempt to switch they'll end up asking me for the employee and then switch me over to a regular unlimited account.. any thoughts?? Also, fyi if the employee that offers you the SWAC leaves, you have 30 days to change your plan, i've confirmed this with sprint

Search for the older SWAC thread. They keep it updated. What you just said, I don't think is mentioned anywhere. That may be a piece of information that people would want to check out
What about all the people like me that used Russ as a referral?
