Thanks for the education. I'm sure they are better and nice to have. For what it's worth, after having Google educate me too, it's about absorption. I had thought it might be about scratch avoidance or something similar. If it's just about absorption, then 1120 GSM = one pass drying; cool to use. But consider, given that these towels dry in 2 passes, you're paying 8X as much for 1X less effort.

Correct, agree; but personally I find the 24" X 16" towels they produce large enough for drying and much easier to manage. Towels this large, I see issues with (a) touching the ground putting dirt and grit into the fabric; (b) attempting to wring them out will be difficult; (c) that's a lot of towel to throw out if only a part of the entire towel becomes not usable; and (d) smaller ones work well for wax removal, so the smaller have more flexible uses. As always, respectfully IMHO.

How does this towel compare to the PFM towels?
The PFM towels are my go-to drying towels, but they are expensive. Wondering how these compare.....

No idea what a PFM towel is, but in my experience the fabric these are made of are the best I've found/used.

I think somebody needs to try some more towels then....

PFM towels are rated 1120 GSM and are around $40 each.
The towel in the OP is only 300 GSM and selling for $5.
That's not even in the same ball park.
Looks like I'll be sticking to the PFM towels.
