It's unbelievable how little you need to spend now to revive an old laptop or desktop. I used SSDs from different vendors to bring back old computers to life and i haven't upgraded in a while.

Wouldn't it be almost double the price, and not $5?

Can't think of a lot to do with a drive this small, but I guess the price is right.

The OS is going to eat that little drive up like an appetizer. My first SSD was 250 and I was constantly having to move items to an external drive. Windows reserves so much room for updates and back end.
A linux dist cab run happily on that space especially if you store data on a second disk or in the cloud.

A plain Windows install takes less than 30gb space, and Linux much less. If you don't have too many applications to install this is good enough capacity.

Another potential use is as an external drive, especially if you have a 2.5 inch enclosure lying around. This would smoke those tiny thumb drives.

Not a single person decrying the lack of DRAM? What dimension is this?
