I have the acoustic electric fretless acoustic bass and it is enormous. I have a few other Dean basses not listed here andn they sound great.

I use the Dean Vendetta XM (with no Tremolo) currently as a beginner/novice and love it

Awesome! Thanks for the reply. Was thinking about getting a Bass and I know the arguments against getting something you can't resell, etc. but I only have the money I have, and a little over 200 sounds good to me.
Of the ones that are on sale or near that price, do you have a recommendation?

Have the Dean Backwoods 2 Acoustic-Electric 5-String Banjo. Sounds great. It's not your traditional banjo as it has a Remo head so it's more of modern sound. It plays nice and sounds good when I plug it into my fender amp. I have fun with it using pedal and effects. Price is worth it. However, like most complaints, no mounts for strap
