The reviews and fakespot grade say okay, it's worth a try, considering it's something I know will have an immediate use.

I paid full retail when I bought mine a year ago. Great convenience fan. I'm happy with mine.

FYI:

I conducted a half-dozen run-time tests. Average results
High speed: 2 hours 59 minutes
Med. speed: 6 hours 29 minutes
Low speed: 12 hours 9 minutes

How does this model compare to the other small fan on SD by same company, that has 5200 battery and with coupon is 13 dollars.
Here is the link to the model I'm referring to.

Coupon says it can't be applied to that fan?

TU - June of 2018 bought the 2-pack efluky brand of this for $16. Identical in every way and both are still going great. Wanted to get a few more but the code only worked on first order. Glad to be able to get another one as my daughters constantly borrow them & now I can let them keep them.

Can the 18650 be easily swapped out or is it wired/soldered in place?

You're not getting quality Samsung batteries in this thing.

PROS
- great charge
- runs as expected

CONS
- none in my opinion.

Looking at the pictures on Amazon it is able to be taken out and swapped with a fresh 18650 or to charge the battery on an external charger.

It's a decent fan, but it just barely is stable enough to stand there - gets knocked over easily and there's no adjusting the angle. It blows in one direction (straight ahead) only. Battery compartment door makes swap easy & it runs without it so you're not destroying the battery by constantly topping it off. Not bad, but if I had to buy again then I'd wait for one with an adjustable angle. They're out there for roughly the same or ever so slightly higher price.

PS mine is branded "efluky," but otherwise looks to be exactly the same.

I bought the Efluky one for $9 back in August 2016, still going strong. I love this little fan, gives out more air than you think a small fan can put out. Battery is easily swapped if necessary.
