Please consider the versions of this card that support either the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) or Susan G. Komen. All 3 cards have the same signup bonus and rewards program, with a portion of your spend donated to support a good cause. Also, an added benefit for most, the WWF and Susan G. Komen cards are both Visa instead of Mastercard.

You probably could.... but all that trouble for 170 or whatever bucks? Just buy groceries with it for 3 months, you should hit the 1000 unless you like to eat bugs or something.

Yup the online shopping is very flexible to all sorts of online shopping. I personally use it for Ebay purchases.

I have a BankAmericard Visa Platinum Plus card that I never use because I have three Chase cards, chase reserve, unlimited and freedom... Would it be possible for me to convert my existing BofA card to this card (and get the bonus)?

Product changes virtually never are entitled to a signup bonus

Nice bonus, got auto approved. I might even actually keep this card after I get the bonus, the 3% online shopping bonus sounds tasty.

I wish the BOFA BBR was still available. Thankfully I signed up before it was discontinued but I have a few family members who were on the fence. Of course telling them "you snooze, you lose" didn't help Wink

could you potentially create a listing on ebay with a buy now and then buy it for 1000 and then take the paypal cut but still make more money?

example:

girlfriend needs a credit card, i put something online and she buys it. urlhasbeenblocked a percentage like 3% so out of the 1000 we lose $30 but make $170?

I had a BofA Bass Pro Rewards card that was discontinued and they automatically put me into this card and I got a similar bonus of $150 without me having to do anything. Of course, YMMV. FWIW, I really like this card and am getting way more back in rewards than I would have ever thought. 3% back for online shopping really adds up for me.
