Yup the online shopping is very flexible to all sorts of online shopping. I personally use it for Ebay purchases.
Does that include all PayPal then?

Even if you don't need one, open a basic BoA checking or savings account. Doing so adds an additional 10% to your cashback thereby boosting online purchases to 3.3%.

So glad BoA switched up the rewards for these cards. I have both the Visa and Mastercard versions and hardly ever used them before. Now earning 3.3% for all online shopping up to $5,000 combined quarterly has pretty much made them my primaries.
Ahh yes this is what I was looking for. I have this on my current one and use it all the time wanted to make sure the wife would get the 10% bonus as well. Thanks!Applause

have this card, thinking about getting another to get around the quarterly limits. With the preferred rewards, you can get 5.25% cash back on all online shopping!

But.... it's not a slickdeal? it's been a 200 credit for months now. this isnt a new thing

Does that mean I can have multiple VISA versions of this card?
They are different cards in and of themselves, so yes, you can have multiple cards from BoA. I personally have 3 and have them set to different cashback bonus categories.

I went to the link. I haven't applied for a credit card in years. I am a new college graduate and am unemployed. What happens if you don't have any income? Do they still give you a credit card?

It would nice if they team up with Amazon so we could use the rewards anytime rather than waiting until we reach $25 min.

In the past BOA use to move credit line to approve for more cards. You can give it a try.
BOA just made it so that there is no longer a minimum when redeeming (for most options):

"Minimum $25.00 redemption for a check or contribution to a qualifying 529 account. No minimum redemption for all other eligible options."

it was a lot hotter when only required to spend $500. https://slickdeals.net/f/11891999-bank-of-america-cash-rewards-credit-card-200-bonus-offer-w-500-in-eligible-purchases?v=1#

Not sure if it's bc I've been a BOA Cash Rewards card holder for 5+ years, but I see the 1-3% cash back + 10% Relationship Bonus (Customer Bonus) for every purchase now. Previously, I'd get the 10% bonus when redeeming, but it shows up immediately now.

Have this card from last 3 years. Wonderful. The only down side is currently when you redeem rewards back to checking or savings 10% more they stopped recently otherwise pretty good card
you get the extra 10% when you make the purchase itself and not during redemption
