have this card, thinking about getting another to get around the quarterly limits. With the preferred rewards, you can get 5.25% cash back on all online shopping!

But.... it's not a slickdeal? it's been a 200 credit for months now. this isnt a new thing
But Slickdeals finding a way to make money from you signing up is new, so now it's a slickdeal (for them).

I received the 3% for PayPal.
When logging into PayPal and checking out with a saved card? Folks were thinking it would only work if you didn't login and used the "enter it yourself powered by PayPal" style checkouts.

Sorry if I missed it but would this work on Apple.com? About to buy a MacBook Pro and the 3% plus bonus sound great.

can you confirm if orders from lowes.com and homedepot.com qualify for the online shopping category? I assume they would but want to make sure they won't exclude it because they are home improvement stores and would fall into that category instead.

I called to ask them they told me they are excluded from the online shopping category. They also told me that they wouldn't even qualify if I choose Home Improvement as my category if the purchases are made on the websites instead of in-store.

This seems pretty restrictive and I doubt it's really true. Can anyone confirm if they have their category on online shopping and whether lowes.com and homedepot.com qualified for 3%?
I made an $86 online purchase at Home Depot back in late March and I received 3% cash back.

Does this card still get 10% bonus for having a BofA checking account? BofA no longer advertizes this, plus a friend who talked to a BofA rep and was told the bonus is no longer available for cardholders after January. But just want to confirm, since there seems to be a lot of misinformation out there.

I've applied online today and got approved.

1. The card will be sent in 7 to 10 days. How can I get card number and transact online before getting the physical card? I know Chase allows that but I'm not sure if BofA does.

2. I'm planning a bigger purchase at apple.com using same day pickup from Apple store. Will that be considered under 3% online category?

How do you see online at BOA it qualified for 3%?

This card is not as good as you think. Too many restrictions on online shopping and 2500 bucks max per quarter. Check the fine prints.

I have a BankAmericard Visa Platinum Plus card that I never use because I have three Chase cards, chase reserve, unlimited and freedom... Would it be possible for me to convert my existing BofA card to this card (and get the bonus)?
You would just get a new one with the cash bonus and leave the old one open. BofA generally doesn't allow for converting existing cards to a new one and they definitely wouldnt give you the bonus without opening a new card.

I have 2 of the MLB version of these cards already. Received $200 bonuses on both. Anyone know if I'll be able to take advantage of this one too?
Yes if you open up a new card and get approved for the credit card.
