I got the same one at Lowe's. It's functional, but it definitely doesn't feel very robust. Wish I just saved my money to put towards one of the Harbor Freight US General ones.

I've got one of these in red that I got from Sears a year or so ago. It does the trick, but is a lot smaller and flimsier than I thought it would be. For $100 though, I can't complain.

For some reason these tool chests maintain their value like crazy around me, I can't even find a decent one used for $100 on craigslist locally. One of these should be in every person's garage though...

Flimsy as hell but would be a nice starter set for a teen or preteen. I was going to buy one years ago and changed my mind because of how shitty it was.

Anyone know if there are any differences between the one in OP and this from lowes?

Lowe's has higher weight rating per drawer but less overall. Want to see which one is more sturdier.

I bought this same set years ago. It is flimsy and the drawer slides can bend easily with any heavy tools in the drawer.

The Cman has one more drawer. Both have dead space down below that you end up stacking cases and larger equipment in. I prefer all drawers. I bought a fully drawered 27" set off Craigslist for $100. Had to travel 2 hours, but it was worth it. Also bought a fully drawered 41" set for $250. Both are 20+ years old, and are much more solid than new ones.

They were, but they cleaned up, just to get dirty again.

I would say to anyone considering this do yourself a favor and get a tool cart from HF instead.

I bought this before and just returned it and did that. The craftsman is super flimsy and has a cheap feel to it.

I like the one from Loews better just because of the black on black
