I got this at Costco for $400 during Black Friday last year. Overall, it's a great monitor. It is a bit big to not be curved when used as a monitor. The best part is being able to display up to 4 inputs simultaneously and letting you split the monitor in multiple ways. This allows me to hook up my work laptop as well as work on my home desktop at the same time. Just use a mouse/keyboard sharing program to use both computers seamlessly. The only negative is the fuzzy edges, you can read about it in most reviews.

They have 144hz 4K monitors if you are willing to sell organs to afford them

Have had this for about a year now. Got it from Costco for the same price. I use it for work ~96% of the time (Excel, Presentations, Charts, etc). It has been great for everything I need, could not imagine going back to a smaller monitor.

The one thing I will mention is that the very edges of the screen (~4mm or so) are not visible when you're seated at center about three feet from the screen, as I usually do. You have to move to the side and look at it almost straight on to see that edge portion of the screen. This has never bothered me or hindered my usage of the monitor in any way, it's only really apparent when you're looking for it considering this thing is huge. Speakers are surprisingly decent for built-ins, but I used externals. Overall, highly recommended.

If this had a higher refresh rate, this monitor would be ideal!
It's 4k, you aren't going to get beyond 60hz.

I've had one for about 6 months. Can't say I love it, but the more I use it, the more I'm used to it. It's awesome for audio and video work.

Bought it two weeks ago for the same price with less warranty. Returned it yesterday. The fuzzy edges and unusable size in most desktop environments made it a funny but impractical toy. Neck strain from constantly looking up/down was too much. Replaced with three 24" IPS FullHD panels for less $$$.

I read somewhere it was fixed in a firmware update. I assume you're talking about the flickering at low brightness issue? I don't see any flickering at all.
