See no 20% off coupon and what did you do buy 2 of these for the $199 min?

Edit: Only let me put 1 in cart...so at store you would only be able to buy one.

that's why you test your drive... both reviews said the drives failed at 2 hours and the other at 10 minutes. that's when you want a drive to fail.

I have 5 6tb and 3 8tb running nearly constantly from WD and they've all been stellar for 1-2.5 years now

I am not saying the WD is bad, just saying this one might not be very good.
Also, may I hazard a guess, the 8TB ones you have are the easystore ones from bestbuy?

what's the difference between the 8tb wd my book vs the 8tb wd elements? is it just the external enclosure or other, i dunno.

i see WD80EZAZ vs WD80EMAZ, what are those differences?

Take an additional 20% off* in-store for over 50,000 different items on your purchase of $199 and up.

Print this page or use the secret word: HatTrick20

This Wednesday, in every Fry's Electronics store, upon opening, the first 25 customers that give this print out to the Fry's greeter or mention the secret word to the greeter will receive a coupon.
Extremely YMMV.

Save your money and get the easystore or the elements which are white label drives.

I recently shucked an 8TB Elements & an 8TB My book. Both had the same whitelabel drive WD80EMAZ.

The white label drives in the ES and Elements are relabeled red drives. Those my book drives might be lower tier. Maybe I'm wrong but I bought 2 a couple years ago for my unraid server and both failed the preclear.

i think the white labels are the same or comparable, with some ppl getting the exact same drive, WD80EMAZ, in all the different wd external drives. this is from googling & additionally the poster shippy that had responded above

also, found different warranty lengths, & a shucked my book will not accept another drive without mods, & other differences
