Input lag on QLED is higher, I would trade something I can control (burn in) for something that can't be avoided (bad lag).
Input lag is great on this tv

People that want a C8 OLED should probably look in a C8 OLED thread instead of a Q9FN QLED thread.
Every time there is a deal on a QLED tv, the OLED shills come out to tell people to only buy OLED because it's the greatest tv in the world. It's 2019 and I'll be damned if I have to baby sit a tv in order for burn in not to happen. If LG was so positive it won't, then why won't they offer a warranty that covers burn in?

Unless most of your TV usage is for gaming, go for LG OLED rather than this one.
This is sooo wrong. People need to end this circlejerk around OLED. Yes OLED C8 is an amazing TV but it isn't the holy grail and has a lot of issues. If you do a lot of gaming, then OLED is actually a worse choice as there is a high chance of burn in because games have a constant HUD. Not to mention no discussion about TVs in a bright room.

Q9 is an amazing display and can stand toe to toe with any OLED even beating it in cases where you have a bright room and want more punchier brightness and color due to high peak brightness.

You aren't providing any additional info. Just restating what I said in an expanded view point.

What more additional details do you need? Everything I said is easily backed by a ton of posts on every forum you visit or even via googling. You said go for OLED if you're gaming without any additional backing on facts. LG OLED burn in is a real issue not some random once in a while occurrence. Gaming is the worst culprit as most games have static HUD elements which means content sticks in the same place for a while. Pretty much the biggest reason for burn in. Look up OLED gaming burn in and you'll see a ton of posts about it. I feel when you're spending in excess of 1500 bucks on a TV, the last thing you want to do is baby it and worry about it burning in. It is a major deal breaker for a lot including me as I game a lot.

In terms of color and peak brightness as well, OLEDs don't reach the same levels as QLED or Vizio Quantum TVs making it a non optimal choice in cases where you have a lot of bright lights or sunlight falling on the screen. It isn't just peak brightness, even the HDR colors will pop out more due to higher HDR brightness meaning you'll get punchier colors which some people hate while some people love. I personally like over-saturated colors.

The main point was OLEDs aren't the end all be all TV that should be a defacto answer to any purchase. If you're in a dark room or you see a lot of dark content or you want a wide viewing angle then yes OLED is the way to go but in certain cases, QLED are actually better than OLED as mentioned.

My 75" Q9 broke a month in. Samsung gave me refund of retail price, when I pat less. I used the money to buy the 77" C8 and couldn't be happier. Samsung has pissed me off on literally every tv and appliance I've owned my entire life.

You are 100% correct and that's why I went with the Q9 in the 75 inch.
I got the 75" Q8FN for $2,250 model and it looks amazing! Great sound for built in tv speakers too.

No one mention black crush on OLED? It's a real thing. Look into that. Q9FN because I don't have to baby it.

Any word if Amazon or Best Buy will be lowering their prices soon on this TV?

Anyone buy from them?
I read lots of other negative reviews of ielectrica hitting/pushing you with insurance, white glove delivery, etc.

Read my post again. It meant if one is in gaming for majority of use, go with this Samsung Q9. You are saying same thing.

Does the Q9 have the motion trail/ghosting issues against light backgrounds like the Q6?
