This isn't a C8 thread. Q9 is an awesome TV

Every time there is a deal on a QLED tv, the OLED shills come out to tell people to only buy OLED because it's the greatest tv in the world. It's 2019 and I'll be damned if I have to baby sit a tv in order for burn in not to happen. If LG was so positive it won't, then why won't they offer a warranty that covers burn in?

People that want a C8 OLED should probably look in a C8 OLED thread instead of a Q9FN QLED thread.

Awesome tv at a great price. Paid almost 1k more and don't regret it at all. 2019 version is not much of an upgrade and you're getting a top of the line Samsung tv for almost half price..

Not an amazing deal. Rakuten just ran it $1849.00
Looks like they are closing out the 2018 models because the 2019 models are already out.
BestBuy or Amazon will probably lower too this week.
Think im going to wait this out and see what happens.

A person that does their homework will know this is no SD...really needs to be under $1500 to be a deal, otherwise go with a C8 on sale...

My unsolicited advice would be if you can watch in a darkened controlled setting get the LG C8 and the picture quality can't be beat. If you cant control the light / sunlight coming through the window for those lucky to be home watching during the day get the Samsung Q9 or Vizio PQ.

You are 100% correct and that's why I went with the Q9 in the 75 inch.
