These ones are kinda cool because they have the detachable mic.

Detachable boom mic

The fact you use Beats tells me everything I need to know about your preference on lack of audio quality haha

not a fan of these cheap (or even more expensive) gaming headsets, they tend to do a poor job of audio playback and recording. 3.8/5 stars on amazon for this one.

I use normal headphones and a detachable mic. Currently I have two different set ups, Beats Solo3s with the Vmoda BoomPro [amazon.com] and my other is a pair of Sennheiser 598's with a ModMic [antlionaudio.com]

These seem like great headphones for the price IMO https://www.rtings.com/headphones...itech/g433

I bought these a month or two ago, not the red, but a different color and overall, I'm happy. I only use it for gaming on my living room computer, they do a good job overall. They aren't particularly comfortable, but not uncomfortable either, I like that they have volume adjustment inline so I don't have to mess with the keyboard to change settings. The 7.1 legitimately works for me, I've been impressed. I'm quite easy on things, for kids, this probably wouldn't last long, but for normal users, I bet this would work great.

I got the blue ones of these about a year ago. While it does put weird pressure on the sides of my giant head, the mic works perfect. The audio is a little lower volume than say the Sony gold headset, but at $50 totally worth it.
