You must have weird shaped ears. They are very comfortable. Can't speak to the bass, as I use them for audio books.

i bought these on prime day last year, for the same price i think. i have been very happy with them and find them very comfortable. hell, they were even put though the wash once and still work!

Don't bother with this or all the other Anker earphones. The new ones are even worse. I have 5 different anker earphones. All garbage. poor sound zero bass and uncomfortable in the ear. There is one Anker earphone that is good and that is the Curve. Decent sound with some bass, long battery life and good fit in the ear.

I recommend the Anker Curve highly! Go for that one.

I have these from the last time they were on sale for this price.

I am very happy with them. Good battery life. Perfectly good sound. You certainly need a seal in your ear but the bass high end and detail are great.

These fit well, stay in my ear (of course fit is going to be VERY subjective).

For comparison, I have a pair of Beats Powerbeats 2 (which I consider to be junk) and also some Bose SoundSports (which sound great). I know that you guys will think I am crazy, but I can't say the slim+ sounds any worse. I am not an audiophile, but definitely appreciate the quality of my mid range Sony MDR-1A closed cans.

I certainly wouldn't pay 5x for the Beats or Bose earbuds at this point. I don't even think 2x is worth it. Incidentally the Bose SoundSports died and had to be replace under warranty.

Overall I like the Anker Slim+, and am going to buy another pair as a backup.

I just got a pair in the mail today that I bought last week for about the same price. They work great! I have small ears and they are very comfortable and fit well. The battery lasts a very long time. The magnetic catch is great as it keeps them from falling off when you aren't wearing them. The sound quality is good but I mostly use them for audio books.

Aukey. Check out the Wirecutter review posted in the Aukey deal description.

Edit: They also reviewed this Anker model under the Notable Competition section: "The Slim pair lacked bass, and the highs in the strings range had a harsh edge. The Slim+ pair offers aptX capabilities, but digital decoding doesn't overcome poor tuning and drivers. Also, the water resistance wasn't as solid as we'd like to see for a set of crossover earbuds."

I have two pairs of these. The older one I bought in November 2017 are great and reliable. The ones I bought in May of 2018 disconnect from Bluetooth every couple hours of use.

No, they don't have great bass or sound quality, but I've been alternating between them (mostly the older ones) at the gym 5-7days a week and for that purpose they are great.

the controls being off-center will become an issue if you intend to use these during any activity requiring body movement.

the weight will pull the left ear bud out of your ear & i've not found a way to stop it.

these would likely be best if you intend to use them while sitting.

Use the included neck clip to fix this issue
