TruFuel 50:1 pre-mixed gas and oil 32oz
$5.96 on sale at Home Depot for $4.48
If you purchase 6 or more they are $4.03 and lower depending on pickup location. One area I saw was $3.82 each.

If you havent looked already, check www.pure-gas.org

The Murphy gas station at the local Wal-Mart has ethanol free lines at every pump. Was a little surprised to see that. Station is only about a year old...

Just a thought, why not run regular gas + mixing and only use the premixed gas towards at the end of summer before storing. Then you can store with the premixed ethanol free gas.

Before storing you are better off putting a stabilizer in the tank, like Stabil.

Im in the do it yourself boat here regarding this product. For what you get you are paying a lot. Looks like mostly convenience for lawn care owners who dont want to bother with mixing fuel for 2 strokes. Id just buy premix oil and dose a gas can. This is a site for CHEAP, not overpriced convenience.

A little. But more so that it's ethanol free and won't harm common day 2 cycle equipment like the garbage fuel we put in our cars will do. You can technically leave this in your equipment year round and it won't harm anything.
These cans are great. I used to use them until my local Walmart started selling ethanol-free gasoline for a little over $3/ gallon. Now I can't justify the expense of the can.

is the appeal to these that they are convenient? 'Cause you are getting absolutely raped based on the cost of gasoline. (32 oz = 1/4 a gal. In my parts that's about 65 cents)

besides no ethanol, the mixed version are engineered to never separate out like traditional gas oil mixes can...
lasts 2 years after opening , 5 years when still sealed...

I got 6 cans a long time ago and refill them mixing up exactly 1 gallon ethanol free gas some stability and proper oil. Just a light shake before using and never had a problem. The cans look so nice in my storage I had to keep em 😂

Because ethanol is hard on the engine, fuel line, seals all season. Not just about storing for end of year. Engine runs better ethanol-free, more power, can hear it.

This is mostly what I have started doing. Save the trufuel and ethanol free gas for the end of season and use the regular crap the rest of the time.

This season I decided to run my 2 cycle snow blower dry on trufuel (remixed to 32:1) and ran ethanol free gas through my 4 cycle blower, closed the gas shut off, ran it dry, then topped the tank up all the way with ethanol free gas to avoid any room for condensation.

Just my two cents, always used regular gas with oil on all small power engines and never had an issue with ethanol

This stuff is amazing in reviving old tools. I had a weedwacker that just would not start- cleaned the carb, new plug, new gas/oil, replaced a seal, no luck. I figured it was just dead. I put this stuff in as a last ditch effort and it started on the third or fourth pull, I couldn't believe it. It still runs great so long as I use this stuff. It's expensive compared to straight gas, but I use so little it's worth the price.

Goes perfect with the blower I bought today. I will have the right gas before the blower arrives.

I can get ethanol free gas locally and do use it for all my small engines, but when i store my equipment, i use this premixed stuff. I run the chainsaw dry, pour this stuff in, run it dry again, then keep choking it to make sure the carb is truly empty. Then put it up for the season. The other thing no one has mentioned with premixed fuel like this is the formulation is different even than ethanol free gas. It is formulated for small engines. It has a different ratio of additives too if I recall correctly.

Some folks can not get real gas, so it is great for them. I take a 1/2hr drive a couple times a yr to fill up a bunch of 5gal cans and add stabil. If I don't think I'm going to use it fast enough. I wish they would get rid of this ethanol crap, my truck gets around 5mpg better on the real stuff!!!!! F ethanol
