rofl really? warned about what? https://www.snopes.com/fact-check...a-testing/

I just wasted my time looking for anything alarming, the closest being gut bacteria in rats adversely affected. Everything else is BS.

It is saccharine, one should be aware of. Sucralose is better than actual sugar if one is diabetic or wants to avoid unnecessary sugars in blood.

Several risks involved: Third party seller with 94% rating, blueberry flavor, protein might be close to expiry date
But, this maybe a good smoothie flavor, and protein actually doesn't go bad, plus no tax!

Everything else is unproven or does not have conclusive evidence for or against, YET. It doesn't actually mean it's okay. I think we should still be cautious and limit our intake if we can. I mean, a little bit of sucralose here, some in my diet coke, a couple of packets of splenda in my coffee, etc, and it all adds up to substantial daily amounts.

Sucralose is actually pretty typical in all whey powders, unless you get unflavored, or natural organic ones. I usually go with unflavored, as it's more versatile and I can easily add my own cacao, vanilla extract, cinnamon, etc.

I consume zero diet soda, but recent stories like these give me pause when it comes to artificial sweeteners elsewhere.

Drinking two or more diet beverages a day linked to high risk of stroke, heart attacks

Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi use aspartame which was out of the market due to some study linking it to cause cancer. It was reintroduced recently thanks to studies "disproving" such reports made a while back. So Coke and Pepsi added aspartame back in their diet products. Bottom line is, I don't know what to believe anymore, and everything in unmoderate quantities can kill you. You have been warned.
