Was able to grab one at $149 but the Adorama site is weird. Depending on the link you use to get to the deal, the price is either $149 or $499. It isn't 100% replicatable.

I have experience with a few Lag guitars and they're excellent for recording. They tend to have a subdued mellow tone similar to Martin's mahogany guitars. Lag is an up and coming brand- recommended!

Thought about this last time at $199, pulled the trigger at $149. Thanks OP!

Link that works for me (from previous deal, as stated by xav_rios):

link from previous post

Also, checked SD rebates, and the only one I could find was for the Lag 70 series guitars.

I'm using SD on android, and found this: OP has 2 links the cut/pasted link is different from the link in the 'See Deal' button or hot linked picture.

Edit: deal is found using the cut/paste link:

I got this one last week at the same price. But I ended up returning it. The issues with mine were: 1. crazy fret buzz, no matter how I adjust the neck; 2. not "plus" electronic. The guitar was made in 2016. It must had been stored in a less than ideal place without enough string tension...

But, the look of this guitar is also CRAZY AMAZING! Best looking guitar! And, without the fret buzz, the sound is actually pretty good...

I got this in the last deal and I can't say enough about the guitar itself and the customer service at Adorama... they really are top notch!

I find the guitar kind of mesmerizing now... the sustain rings out as though it's a full bodied dreadnought, but with a warmer tone. I changed the strings to a set of elixir nanoweb, and the guitar sounded better than my (now envious) friend's Martin that he paid 6 times what I did...

Mine needed no adjustment beyond the strings, which is really a matter of preference for me... mine was manufactured in 2017...

LAG is a French company that manufacturers their higher end equipment in France and they built their own factory in China to produce and maintain strict control over quality of their equipment.

Mine isn't turning on. It didn't come with directions. What kind of batteries does this take. I was using double a, is that wrong? How do the batteries go in?

Most pickups like this take AA batteries. Typically, you must have an instrument cable plugged into the jack to activate it. If you tried the batteries in the correct direction, and you have a cable plugged in, and no lights come on, I would talk to Adorama to see what you should do.

I didn't get this exact model, I got the lag T70 and that one came with a 9 volt battery, the square kind. Most acoustic electric instruments use that type of battery.
