Just a bit of a warning. I bought this phone on one Gmail account and activated on another. After 30 days they charged me the full price. I was on the phone several times with different managers refusing to help me. Ended up calling my bank and they won the charge back.

Personally wouldn't use Google fi after that experience. Also I'd buy this with one of those prepay debit card things so they can't come after you later. I had to cancel my credit card because they tried charging me again for service I had cancelled.

The deal nor terms & conditions did not say you had to use the same account. Only that you had to activate it with their service.

It's not over, collection agency + credit score hit. Google will likely cancel your service, so port out asap.

Actually it's over. Charge back was approved, Google lost fighting it. I cancelled a while back and ported out.

Nah, chargeback aren't the end, unless it was your CC that paid it off. Google will now go to their debt collection agency once they find out they have missing money, it's going to linger for a while.

Google Fi is bad that way. They make the interface zen/spartan, but that means important info like terms of promotions is missing.
And when you reach out through chat / phone, their agents have the relevant info readily available. I keep wondering why they don't just post it on their website.

How is Google Fi? We currently have Republic Wireless. Has anyone had both?

@Op - Please change the photo. The photo shows Moto X4 but the deal is about Moto G6.
