For thicc and sweaty thighs, I personally recommend their Armachillo briefs.

i literally said i won't buy boxers with no slit and you respond recommending boxers with no slit lol
They have a slit in the front. Its a top down instead of side to side.

For most of my lengthy lifetime to date I wore normal Hanes or FOTL tidy-whitey's and just assumed that uncomfortable, ugly mens underwear was just the way underwear was meant to be. A couple years ago I decided to splurge and try some of these high priced but positively reviewed boxer briefs from Duluth. What a difference. I can say that despite the high price it has been money well spent, and I consider myself financially conservative. I have tried both the boxer briefs and the Armachillo and prefer the boxer briefs.

It makes me sad that these are *so* dumpy looking. Men need to step up their underwear game.

If I'm wearing brief size L of Fruit of the Loom, do I get the same size here? I know some brands have their size way off...like on Tommy Hilfiger or VS...

Can you actually articulate what the big difference is? Like they are much more comfortable?

Everyone says "worth it" but I rarely see anyone say why. I have hanes boxer briefs and I don't find them to be uncomfortable. A friend of mine that loves these told me if he gets a hole in a pair, he can return them no questions asked so it is like buying underwear for life, but I don't have a store nearby.

I'm not trying to call you or anyone that wears these out. I'm really wondering what the big difference is, for such a massive price discrepancy between these and common off the shelf brands. I'm definitely not opposed to the cost if it makes a huge difference I just haven't had anyone tell me in any real way why these are so much better.

I switched to Duluth within the past 2 years. I was finding that I was buying a new package of Hanes or Fruit of the Loom cotton boxer briefs from Walmart every month because they would not hold their shape and fall apart. This would cause chaffing and irritation especially after sweating. I bought a couple pairs of these on an extreme sale as I figured why not. They are great and have held their shape nicely. I prefer the free range cotton line better as they stretch nicely and can have a tighter heavier feel. Ultimately it comes down to personal preference, but you shouldn't be readjusting or changing multiple times a day because they are uncomfortable.

I prefer going commando all the time and after reading the reviews and seeing the cost, I will stick to my ways.

Good to know in case I find myself in need to undergarments.

Admittedly I'm a bit of a Duluth fanboy (other than their illustrations are growing old on me). However, I've tried several different types of boxer briefs (Hanes, Exficio, Polo, etc.) and the Duluth Armachillo and Buck Naked varieties are without a doubt my favorites- I really should toss all the others as they never get used. I'm 50/50 on which I like most so I have a few of each. I can't give anyone a quantitative reason for liking them, they just feel very comfortable to me and I've only had to replace one pair after 3-4 years of use.

Side Note: I also very much like the buck naked undershirts. Not cheap, but I wear them almost everyday and like the boxers they have been durable and very comfortable. I really like the texture, especially when it's hot weather.

Fair warning for first time buyers. I ended up purchasing a few different types of Duluths boxer briefs and returned them all. They all have a really low crotch area so chafege still happened.

The quality of Duluths are great, but I still believe the best Boxer Briefs out there for quality/price ratio has to be allcitizens.
I like allcitizens except the waistband. Out of the 5 I have only one has held up. The rest are starting to gray and you can see bits of the elastic band.
